11. Black Canary

A former magician is seen shooting herself with a rifle, yet medics insist she’d already been dead for hours.

Jonathan and Maddie are joined by a professional sleuth, the suave Detective Inspector Gideon Pryke, who’s as hot on the trail of the truth as they are.

Why did a hobo leave no footprints in the snow, and how come someone slightly shifting a small table confuses everyone?

Meanwhile, Adam Klaus is attempting to get it on with his much younger assistant, but when he finally does he finds out she has an unfortunate penchant for the Third Reich.

And what does all this have to do with residents of Hammersmith being angry about a new strip bar in the neighbourhood?

We analyse the story before digging up some location information and track down some frankly exceptional real-world connections to details in the show..
