1. The Wrestler’s Tomb

Artist Hedley Shale is found dead on his bedroom floor, having spent the morning indulging in bedroom frolics with a young model.

When crime writer Maddie Magellan becomes involved and subsequently encounters magician’s consultant Jonathan Creek, she realises that his brilliant lateral mind could help her find out what really happened to Hedley.

Could his perturbed wife possibly be the perpetrator? And what does an Army Coronel from northern Michigan have to do with all this?
