22. The Seer of the Sands

When a paranormal investigator drowns his sorrows and then, accidentally, himself, it makes no sense; after all, his lover had just given him some great news.

He appears to then contact her from beyond his watery grave, which is astonishingly inexplicabe. Unless you’re Jonathan Creek, who somehow makes it… explicable.

Meanwhile, Adam is on a quest to prove his diversity awareness, largely because it could help him get his end away.

Why not take the chance to chill out a bit after the excitement of the episode by indulging in some Creek-themed ASMR?

The Seer of the Sands was the fourth episode of series four, airing on Valentine’s Day 2004.

Written by David Renwick and directed by Sandy Johnson, guest stars included Gary Cady, Jonathan Kydd, Lorelei King, Nicola Hughes, Catherine Cusack and Eve Polycarpou.

It turns out the M in ASMR doesn’t stand for ‘mother’ as I’d always assumed - you can find out more about the whole thing on the internet, including here.
